உள்ளத்தை உருக்கிய கவிதையாக வந்த கதை! என் சொந்த கதையோடு முடிச்சு போட்டு பார்த்து கலங்க வைத்தது. அறிவு சொல்கிறதை மனது ஒப்புகொள்வதில்லையே! மறைவு என்பது உலுக்கி போட்டு விடுவதில்லை, உலுக்கிக்கொண்டே இருப்பது தானே! பெண்கள் எரியூட்டும் இடத்திற்கு போவதில்லையே, ஆனாலும் பானுவால் அந்த இடங்களை அருகில் இருந்து பார்த்தாற்போல் எப்படி எழுத முடிந்தது ? ஒரு வேளை, ரவி உதவி இருப்பாரோ? ஆனால் அவருக்கு இந்த மாதிரி சோகம் பிழிந்து எழுத வருவதில்லை, நகைச்சுவையாகத்தான் எழுத வரும்! கனடாவிலிருந்து எழுதினாலும், பானுவின் எழுத்தின் சோகம் இங்கே சிங்கப்பூரில் மழை வருவித்தது! நல்ல படைப்புக்கள் தொடர வாழ்த்துக்கள்! Kaasu Maalai is a nice family story. Portrayal of the happenings in Sivasu and Lalitha’s family is super. Ending is also very nice.

Well written. The author nicely portrays the current trends in the society. I think the story conveys the message that, one has to just perform his/her duties and be self reliant. The character Lalitha is superb

The story is very well written. It is really touching and I was moved very much. The writer has depicted the character levery well and ended the story nicely. Tears roll down while reading Sivasu's decision of offering the house for veda samrakshana. I liked the decision of Sivasu giving the kasu malai to Akhilandeshwari Ambal. The writer has picturised the practical social problem persists among our society. The language is very good and will be easily followed by one and all. My hearty congratulations to the author. I am eagerly looking forward to many more great stories from her. I wish her all the best of luck. Srimathi Nagarajan

Super story! What a wonderful portrayal of the family from the previous generations. The husband , Sivasu and wife lalitha of the 1940/50 generation is excellently portrayed by the writer. Lalitha's love to her family , respect to her mother-in-law and Vivekam in making decisions brings tears to the eyes. The writer has ended the story beautifully depicting the reality in today's world and Sivasu deciding to stay alone. Destiny answering Sivasu and Lalitha's charities and prayers with a wonderful solution. The writer has portrayed the message that keep doing good and all will be taken care.
